# Affiliates and Referrals

InsanityBets' referral program is designed to reward users who bring new players to the platform. The program operates on a tier system to prevent abuse and ensure that referrers receive their rightful rebates.

* Tier 1: 5% bet fee discount for users, 10% bet fee rebates to referrer
* Tier 2: 10% bet fee discount for users, 10% bet fee rebates to referrer
* Tier 3: 10% bet fee discount for users, 15% rebates to referrer paid, 3% rebates to referrer paid in $esIBET (total 18%)

Anyone can create a Tier 1 referral code. To upgrade to Tier 2 or Tier 3, you must meet the following requirements:

* Tier 2: At least 15 active users using your referral codes per week and a combined weekly volume above $1 million
* Tier 3: At least 30 active users using your referral codes per week and a combined weekly volume above $2.5 million

Rebates and discounts apply on the bet fees for all casino games. If the account has no referrer, the fee discounts and rebates would go back to the staked derivative holders. 

If an account has no referrer, the betting fees goes to `$sIBET`, `$bIBET` and `$esIBET` holders.

Once again, this will all be transparently on-chain with no manual interventions.
